On any given day, 22% of kids between the ages of 6 and 19 eat pizza.

Pizza was also only second to soda and sports drinks, in terms of providing the most calories to the daily diets of teens ages 12-19.

Studies show that although kids often shy away from "green" pizza toppings, they will eat other vegetable toppings like onions, as well as mushrooms , which technically are not a vegetable, but a fungi.
